TFCD - 芮琦

Thanks to Mark for inviting me to this TFCD. RuiQi is not a model in profession (Medicine 2nd yr, NUS) but she can really pose.That really makes life easy for the photographer. A great model and a good location, what more can I ask. Think this will be the last time we can shoot at Old Changi Hospital as is going to be demolish soon. We are running out of location as more and more places are actually restricting photography. Think is time to venture out of Singapore. I would really like to shoot at streets of Japan someday.

Japanese Streetwear

Got the opportunity to work with Danielle again for this shoot. I was not feeling well during the last time round and therefore my composition part of the brain wasn't functioning. This time round there was two outfit, "Lolita" and "Jap Streetwear". I personally prefer the "Jap Streetwear". I didn't really agree with the shoot location for the two outfit. Would have chose the tomb around Fort Canning Park for the "Lolita" outfit and Graffity wall at the back alley of Bugis Street. But then again it was a group shoot organise by Shren, both site I suggested is not suitable for group shoot.

Lolita

Joined one of the shoot organized by Shren last weekend, theme "Lolita & Jap Sreet wear". Have not practice portrait for weeks and took the opportunity to try out my new Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 too. These were some of the shots taken.
Conclusion, I still prefer the effect of prime lens compare to zoom lens. But the coverage and framing is easier with 18-50mm.

ND Filter on Flora

Went to Hort Park last weekend, wanted to try out the effects on ND filter. Woke up late and by the time I reach the park it was already 8 Plus. The park was crowded and there was a company event going on. I can't take scenery and therefore I fix my ND filter on my Macro 105mm instead. Didn't set up my tripod causes there was children running around. I hope I can reach the park before 7am in my next visit.
